To my sweet Ladybug...

On this day 3 years ago you came into our life and have melted our hearts everyday since. You have your daddy's personality and your mommy's shyness. You're a momma's girl but someday I know that will change and it will be all daddy. You have your daddy's chubby cheeks and yes they are too nummy! You get the hiccups everytime we tickle you. You would spend everyday and all day outside if you could but a good bubble bath is close second. Such a girly girl and full of questions. Loves riding in the Jeep with the top down sporting her shades. Very much an Ama's girl and loves to bake with her. Sweet, sweet girl, you are growing much to fast for me and no matter how big you think you are you will always be my baby girl!
Love, your very proud momma!

Elf on a Shelf

We have adopted a new tradition this year. Jumping on the Elf on the Shelf bandwagon. We adopt an Elf, name him (any suggestions?), and he keeps an eye on whose been good and bad. At night he reports back to Santa and when he returns it's to a new location so you have to find him. I have heard these Elves can get into some mischief so we'll see. This should be fun!

She Adores Him

She simply loves Santa Claus. Who can blame her. She runs to him and sits so sweetly on his lap. This is truly my favorite time of year!

Trick or Treat

As always Halloween night is such a whirlwind of activity. We normally take Landry to several different locations so family/friends can see her. If we missed you this year we do apologize but we head up north to Oklahoma (okay it was really just Savannah, TX but it sure feels like it by the drive) to trick or treat at Robin's house. The land of the FULL size candy bars.

We started out at Jimmy and Dawana's house for some picture taking with the cousins. Hayden was not a very happy cow.

Then we met up with some friends and head north. The kids really loved it. Spiderman is Landry's cousin Ian and Batman is a friend of Bryan's son Aiden. They kept referring to each other as Spiderman and Batman all night and not by name. Too cute. They always made sure Tinkerbell was right there with them though.

Then there was the scariest house on the block. The kids were all brave and went up to receive their candy but then got the heck out of there. The people at the house were very nice not to jump out and scare them but the masks they were wearing did the job. They all said "lets not go to anymore scary houses tonight". Poor kiddos. This house had the full sized candy bars!

Pumpkin Patch - Year 3

Wow, is this really our 3rd year to visit the pumpkin patch. It's really becoming a fun tradition as long as the kettlecorn stand is open. She is growing up so fast. We actually went twice this year so that is the reason for two different outfits. We needed to kill a day while Bryan was working. As always she had a blast.
Magenta from Blue's Clues. Her favorite show.

She loves the scarecrows.

That kettlecorn is as big as she is!

That is one BIG pumpkin.

Oktoberfest

We joined Alysha and Kyle this past weekend for Oktoberfest in Addison. Landry had a blast and went the whole day without a nap. She got to ride her very first fair rides and wasn't scared of them like I thought she might be. This child LOVES everything.

Check her out relaxing while Alysha is doing all the work.

Snapshots

Not much to blog about lately but here are a bunch of snapshots I've taken. Sometimes I really wish my creativity was in writing but I just don't have a way with words so pictures will have to do!

We took a walk around a nature center in Lewisville. This is the Trinity River. Yes, parts of it are really pretty. At this point Landry was really tired.

Landry and daddy hanging out visting at Aunt Sheri's house.
Jammin' on Ian's guitar!
Enjoying lunch with her cousin Hannah from Longview.
